I have tested this installation (see above) on GEN 1 Hardware and discovered an issue in which the GEN2 drivers did not install. After installing, I looked in Device Manager only to discover older drivers. During the install process I noticed files were copied here... Consequently, I decided to install the Focusrite drivers manually from Device Manager. You will then need to navigate to C:\Program Files\FocusriteUSB and continue. Upon completion you will be greeted with this... Congratulations... you are done. I did not have to reboot for the changes to take affect. Check your installation in Device manager to make sure it worked as intended. Look at the driver version.

Also worth noting... During the creation of the above tutorial I reinstalled using the conventional/standard method. Upon completion my drivers were reverted to the the older version. The only way I was able to get the newer drivers installed was to follow the instructions outline in the tutorial.
Feel free to ask questions. I hope I covered everything and this tutorial is error free.
