I have tested this installation (see above) on GEN 1 Hardware and discovered an issue in which the GEN2 drivers did not install. After installing, I looked in Device Manager only to discover older drivers.  During the install process I noticed files were copied here... Consequently, I decided to install the Focusrite drivers manually from Device Manager.  You will then need to navigate to C:\Program Files\FocusriteUSB and continue. Upon completion you will be greeted with this...  Congratulations... you are done. I did not have to reboot for the changes to take affect. Check your installation in Device manager to make sure it worked as intended. Look at the driver version.  |

Also worth noting... During the creation of the above tutorial I reinstalled using the conventional/standard method. Upon completion my drivers were reverted to the the older version. The only way I was able to get the newer drivers installed was to follow the instructions outline in the tutorial.
Feel free to ask questions. I hope I covered everything and this tutorial is error free.
